Factory Blinds is an independently owned and operated made-to-measure retail window furnishings business that was established in 1989. Initially the business started as a wholesaler trading as Home Decor Agencies. Due to a change in market conditions the business evolved from wholesale to retail and by 1998 the transition was completed and with that transition came the change of name to Factory Blinds.
Factory Blinds specialises in blinds, awnings and shade cover. We relocated to our new showroom at 90-92A Invermay Rd, Invermay in November 2009 so as to offer a larger and more modern display of our full range of products and, to making shopping easier, there is a large free off street car parking area for your convenience.
Our workroom remains at Prospect where we manufacture most of our own soft blinds. In 2007 we invested in the most modern and up to date ultrasonic fabric cutting table available that would cut and seal the edges of the fabrics so as to produce a high quality blind and eliminate fraying.
As at 1 July 2010, in addition to the business owners, Factory Blinds employs 10 staff, two sales representatives based at the Invermay showroom who will bring a large range of blind samples to your home for a free measure and quote while at our Prospect workroom we have an Administration Manager who oversees the accounts office, five workroom staff and two installers.
Factory Blinds is Tasmania based and while predominantly servicing the North and North-East areas we are prepared to travel anywhere within the State.

At Factory Blinds our aim in business is to;

[3.] Monitor and update our product ranges to reflect modern trends and fashions,
[4.] Treat our customers, suppliers and staff in the same manner as we expect to be treated.
