Newport is constructed using a high grade, plain weave 100% Polyester yarn. It is durable, extremely stable and offers longevity to the finished Blinds. This ensures that they retain their brilliant, crisp and elegant look for many years.

Newport offers a range of light to mid coloured Translucents, with each being partnered by a same colour Blockout. This is particularly useful in dual Roller Blind applications, where the Translucent finish can be used for light filtering during the day, whilst the Blockout provides total privacy at night. A further range of Blockout colours are also available in dark and stunning shades.

The Translucent finish allows natural light to enter a room, providing a comfortable, filtered effect. For complete light control, Newport is also available in a range of modern and dramatic Blockout colours. This finish is suitable for bedrooms, home theaters, corporate offices or areas where total light control is required.

Newport provides an excellent variety of Window Covering option and can be utilised in many Blind applications including Roller, Roman and Panel Glide Blinds.

Newport Translucent and Blockout have been tested by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority (ARPANSA), for Ultraviolet Protection levels, with outstanding results.

Newport Translucent offers between 96.0% and 97.4% Ultraviolet Protection against the Sun's harmful rays, while Newport Blockout provides the maximum Ultraviolet Protection levels of 97.5% or more. Newport Translucent and Blockout can be used with confidence, knowing it meets these stringent government guidelines for Ultraviolet Production in Window Covering treatments.
