From Plastic Bottles to Recycled Drapery
What is recycled polyester yarn?
Recycled Polyester yarn is made from post-consumer and post-industrial recycled PET products such as plastic bottles and packaging. Recycled Polyester lowers the demand for new petroleum-based products, thus reducing significantly the carbon footprint.

At Factory Blinds, we work with a huge range of supplier who all supply a range if not multiple ranges of Recycled Fabrics, just to name a few are Maurice Kain, James Dunlop, Zepel and Warwick.
Even as a recycled fabric they can still provide elegance to any room that they are added to. Many of our suppliers have beautiful colour schemes throughout; Zepel Twirler, James Dunlop Beauvoir and Warwick Interlude are just a few of the new ranges avaliable to view instore.

Maurice Kain presents environmental luxury in Deserts and Forests Collection.
Made from 100% Recycled Polyester - each metre of fabric contains 81 one litre plastic bottles that have been recycled and prevented from entering landfill.

The collection incorporates a selection of sheer and solid drapery fabrics across 5 beautiful earth-inspired tones.
James Dunlop Kumo recycled presents a modern perspective on fibre construction. Existing PET plastic bottles are reconstructed and repurposed into yarn. Embracing the imperfect quality of natural materials, Kumo Recycled has a slubby and delicate weave that beautifully emulates the appearance and handle of soft cotton, a palette of 15 decorative shades reference our Australasian flora and fauna to elegantly frame the view within any setting.
