CONFIRMED ORDERS
By placing an order with Factory Blinds and making a payment of a deposit or by issue of a purchase order you are acknowledging and confirming that you accept and will comply with the full Terms and Conditions of Factory Blinds which are available on our website under Terms and Conditions.

No order will be considered a firm order nor will work commence on an order until a deposit has been received from non-account customers or an official purchase order has been received from account customers.

On receipt of a deposit or purchase order a Confirmation of Order advice will be forwarded to you either by email or handed to you in person that outlines basic information that you may wish to know at the time.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
If you do not agree with or will not abide by the Terms and Conditions of Factory Blinds and wish to cancel the order and receive a full refund of any monies paid in relation to that order then you must notify Factory Blinds within two working days from receipt of that document.

In the first instance the cancellation of an order may be requested by phone or in person but must be confirmed by you in writing within the two working days period of time from the initial placement of the order. Written cancellation of an order can be hand delivered in person to Factory Blinds, 90-92A Invermay Rd, Invermay TAS 7248 or by email to the following email address; gary@factoryblinds.com.au.

Requests to change or cancel an order after two working days from receipt of deposit or receipt of purchase order may not be possible without incurring a penalty to do so. Manufacturing is deemed to have commenced as from Day 3 and cancellation or changes to orders from there on may not be possible without incurring a penalty to do so.

All efforts will be made by Factory Blinds to comply with any late requests for cancellation or changes and if able to do so without incurring any penalties we will gladly do so otherwise the penalty for late order cancellations or changes may incur charges up to the maximum value of the original order.

PLEASE NOTE. Written notification by way of traditional ‘snail mail’ through Australia Post or similar methods is no longer considered by Factory Blinds as an accepted and timely method of written communication where specific time frames are imperative, effective from 7th January 2016.

REFUNDS
Manufactured products supplied by Factory Blinds are made to order to suit your individual and specific requirements. These products are not ‘Off the Shelf’ goods and cannot be returned to stock or be re-sold at a later date and as such as far as Australian Consumer Law allows refunds will not be given as far as the Australian Consumer Law allows.

MERCHANT'S REFUND POLICY MUST BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED

Merchant must notify cardholders of the dispute resolution procedures and any other terms and conditions connected to the transaction prior to processing a card transaction. If Merchant limits refund/exchange terms or other specific conditions for card sales, Merchant's POLICY MUST BE CLEARLY PROVIDED TO THE CARDHOLDER PRIOR TO THE SALE IN THE CASE OF ONLINE TRANSACTIONS AND AS PART OF YOUR SALE CONFIRMATION PROCESS. PROPER DISCLOSURE WOULD INCLUDE WORDING THAT IS PROMINANTLY DISPLAYED AND STATES "NO REFUND, EXCHANGE ONLY", OR SOMETHING SUBSTANTIALLY SIMILAR AND INCLUDES ANY SPECIAL TERMS. NOTE: QUALIFYING YOUR REFUND OR EXCHANGE TERMS DOES NOT COMPLETELY ELIMINATE YOUR liability for a refund because consumer protection laws and Association Rules frequently allow the cardholder to still dispute these items. Merchant must respond promptly to all customer inquiries, including cancellations and order changes. Merchant must fulfil customer orders in a timely manner and adequately deal with customers’ warranty or service requirements.
